iQuake Privacy Policy

iQuake is a lightweight earthquake monitoring app. We are committed to your privacy and want to be completely transparent: we do not collect, store, or share any personal data.

1. What We Access

• Location (optional): Used only to display seismic activity near your current location. Location data stays on your device and is not stored or transmitted to us.
• Searched Locations: If you search for a region, the coordinates are used locally to fetch earthquake data and may be saved locally to show recent searches or widgets.

2. What We Don’t Do

• ❌ No personal data collection
• ❌ No analytics or tracking
• ❌ No ads or profiling

3. Seismic Data Sources

iQuake uses public APIs (such as the USGS Earthquake Hazards Program) to fetch earthquake data. When requesting nearby activity, your device may send approximate coordinates to these services. We do not control how third parties handle that data, so their privacy policies apply.

4. Subscriptions (if applicable)

If you offer in-app purchases via RevenueCat, that data is handled by them and Apple. We do not store or access your subscription or payment details. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.

5. Your Control

• Location Access: You can turn it off anytime in iOS settings. The app will still function for manual searches.
• Clear Data: Uninstalling the app deletes any saved searches or local preferences.

6. Children’s Privacy

iQuake is not designed for children under 13. Since we don’t collect or store personal data, the app is compliant by design. If you're concerned a child has used the app and shared data externally, contact us.
