PRIVACY POLICY

1. Information Used Locally

Mnml stores information locally on your device to function:

• App & Folder Configuration: Names, URL schemes, icon symbols, colors, and arrangement stored using Apple's SwiftData framework. Not sent to us or any third party.
• Customization Settings: Layout, themes, backgrounds, icon styles, accent color stored locally using @AppStorage.
• Custom Background Image (Optional): If you choose a custom photo, a copy is stored in the app's private container on your device. Not uploaded or shared.
• Health Data / Steps (Optional): If enabled, reads daily step count from HealthKit. Read-only, processed on-device, not stored or sent anywhere.
• Network Status: Wi-Fi indicator accesses local network status. Not stored or transmitted.

2. What We DON'T Do

• No personal data collection
• No analytics or tracking
• No ads
• No remote storage (by default)
• No cloud sync without your explicit consent

Note: If you enable iCloud sync for SwiftData in your device settings, Apple's standard iCloud terms apply.

3. Third-Party Services & Data

• HealthKit: Managed entirely by Apple's framework according to permissions you grant.
• PhotosPicker: Managed by Apple's standard PhotosPicker framework.
• SwiftData / AppStorage: Standard Apple frameworks operating locally.
• Launched Apps/Websites: When you tap an item to launch another app or website, you interact directly with that service. Their privacy policies apply. Mnml simply initiates the launch.
• LSApplicationQueriesSchemes: Declares URL schemes in Info.plist to check if apps are installed. Does not grant Mnml access to data within those apps.

4. Your Control & Data Management

• Permissions: Grant or revoke HealthKit and Photos permissions anytime via iOS Settings (Privacy & Security).
• Feature Toggles: Disable optional features like Steps Indicator, Clock, or Progress Bars within Mnml's settings.
• Editing Data: Add, edit, reorder, and delete configured apps and folders within Mnml's management screen.
• Data Deletion: Uninstalling Mnml deletes all locally stored data, including apps, folders, settings, and custom backgrounds.

Your privacy is protected by default.

5. Children's Privacy

Mnml is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information.

Because the app operates locally without collecting personal data, it is designed to be compliant with children's privacy regulations like COPPA.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
