Privacy Policy

Your Data Stays On Your Device

Rise & Align is designed with privacy as a fundamental principle. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell any of your personal information.

Location Data

Rise & Align requests your location only to calculate accurate sunrise/sunset times and planetary hours for your local timezone. Location data:

  • Is used only for astronomical calculations
  • Is never stored on our servers
  • Is never transmitted to third parties
  • Uses kilometer-level precision (not GPS tracking)
  • Requires "when in use" permission only

Birth Data (Natal Chart)

If you choose to enter your birth date, time, and location for natal chart calculations:

  • All data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData
  • Never transmitted to external servers
  • Never shared with third parties
  • Can be deleted at any time from app settings

No Analytics or Tracking

Rise & Align does not include:

  • Analytics frameworks
  • Advertising SDKs
  • Crash reporting tools that transmit data externally
  • Social media integrations
  • Third-party tracking pixels or beacons

Subscription Data

In-app purchases are processed through Apple's StoreKit 2 framework. Apple handles all payment information according to their privacy policy. We do not receive or store your payment details.

Swiss Ephemeris Calculations

All astronomical calculations are performed on-device using the bundled Swiss Ephemeris library. No internet connection is required after initial app installation. Planetary positions and timing data never leave your device.

Offline Operation

Rise & Align is designed to function completely offline. Once installed, the app does not require network access for any core functionality. Network permission (if requested) is used only for optional features like checking for app updates.

Data Deletion

To delete all app data:

  • Delete the app from your device
  • All locally stored preferences, natal chart data, and ritual history will be permanently removed
