Professional Earthquake Monitoring with Advanced 3D Analytics

Track global seismic activity with tectonic visualizations, historical analysis, and near-instant widget updates

CORE_FEATURES

3D Earthquake Visualization

Advanced depth mapping, cross-section analysis, tectonic plate overlays, and heat map density views for comprehensive geological insight.

Historical Data & Trends

Access up to 30 days of earthquake history with powerful analytics, magnitude distribution charts, and temporal pattern analysis.

Live Home Screen Widgets

Premium widgets update every ~5 minutes with M4.0+ earthquakes, activity timelines, and significant event tracking.

Advanced Filtering

Regional filtering, tsunami zone detection, shallow earthquake alerts, and customizable magnitude/distance thresholds with quiet hours.

About Real-Time Notifications

iOS Limitation: Due to Apple's Background App Refresh constraints, true real-time push notifications for earthquakes aren't possible on iOS.

However: Premium widgets refresh approximately every 5 minutes, providing near-instant updates for significant earthquakes (M4.0+) directly on your home screen—much faster than waiting for the app to open!

Professional Seismic Intelligence

iQuake delivers professional-grade earthquake monitoring powered by USGS (United States Geological Survey) and TMD (Thai Meteorological Department). Whether tracking regional activity or monitoring global seismic patterns, iQuake provides authoritative data in an intuitive, performance-optimized interface.

Premium features include 3D tectonic visualizations, depth-based color mapping, cross-sectional fault analysis, and heat map density views. Access up to 30 days of historical data with magnitude distribution charts, temporal pattern analysis, and regional breakdowns.

Privacy-First Architecture: iQuake fetches data directly from public geological APIs. Zero tracking, zero ads, zero unnecessary permissions. Location data (when enabled for proximity alerts) never leaves your device and is never stored or transmitted.

FREQUENTLY_ASKED

Where does earthquake data come from?

iQuake aggregates real-time data from USGS (global coverage) and TMD (Thailand regional). All data comes from official government seismological services via public APIs. Data typically updates within 1-5 minutes of detection.

Why can't I get instant push notifications?

iOS restricts background app refresh to conserve battery. Apps can't continuously monitor for earthquakes. Solution: Premium widgets refresh every ~5 minutes, providing near-instant updates for significant earthquakes (M4.0+) on your home screen—much faster than manual app checking.

Is this an early warning system?

No. iQuake is a monitoring tool that displays data from seismological agencies after earthquakes are detected and processed. For official early warning systems, consult your local emergency management authority.

Does it work offline?

iQuake requires internet connectivity to fetch live seismic data. Previously loaded earthquakes remain cached for offline reference until the next refresh.

How is location data handled?

Location is only accessed when proximity alerts are enabled. All distance calculations happen on-device. Your location is never stored, transmitted, or shared with third parties. Completely private.

Premium pricing?

Free tier includes basic monitoring (3 hours history). Premium unlocks 30-day history, 3D analytics, widgets, cross-sections, tectonic overlays, and advanced filtering. Available as annual subscription or lifetime purchase.
